Jesus was blessed by many people on his way to Jerusalem on a donkey, and many people believed in Jesus. Some of them learned about Jesus because of Lazarus. However, even more people met Jesus because of the people who witnessed Lazarus (12:17).
With so many people learning about Jesus and what He can do, the Pharisees are not happy. They talked about how they are "accomplishing nothing" because "the world has gone after Him" (12:19). Despite the Pharisees' best efforts, they couldn't stop Jesus's impact. Not only did Jesus himself got others to believe in Him, but also the people Jesus impacted as well as the surrounding people (creating a pretty big ripple effect). Even today, Jesus can create a ripple effect that impacts people, and we can be a part of it.
